Job Description – Life Skills & PBL Coordinator

The Life Skills & PBL Coordinator, under the supervision of the Project Manager and DIL LS trainer, trains and supports teachers on delivering Life Skills modules through interactive sessions and activities. He/she is also responsible for the implementation of PBL activities, sports and Art in all schools of his/her project.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1: Life Skills Training

• Train designated Life Skills teachers of the project on delivering the LS curriculum modules
• Observe teachers during sessions to identify any gaps; support teachers in addressing gaps.

• Plan and facilitate LS teachers’ meetings to share learnings/best practices

• Track teacher progress and resolve any issues in consultation with the manager
• Track student progress using data from pre and post assessments

2: PBL/sports/art training and oversight

• Oversee the implementation of the PBL activities in schools, ensuring activities align with PBL objectives
• Support teachers with the planning and roll out of PBL for every grade
• Oversee Art and sports activities, ensuring they are aligned with the curriculum

3: Reporting and Administration

• Prepare separate quarterly reports for LS and PBL/sports/art.
• Support the PM in design and implementation of Life Skills curriculum.
• Assess the students’ LS needs.
• Maintain all the relevant records such as assessment, enrollment, attendance, students’ work, pictures and material purchase records.
• Support the manager in tracking expenses and budget.

4: Professional Development

and skills. Attends in-house or external trainings with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

5: Any other tasks assigned by the line managers

The LS Coordinator may be asked to provide support on any other tasks that are necessitated by new interventions/enhancements.
