Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan invites applications from qualified, experienced, and dynamic candidates for the position of Warehouse Pharmacist based at Community Health Program, Karachi.

Position Summary:

Behind every well-functioning health facility is a warehouse that runs with precision. At Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P), safe and timely access to essential medicines can mean the difference between illness and recovery. As Pharmacy Warehouse Assistant, you will ensure the smooth and compliant flow of medicines and medical supplies across AKHS, P facilities. From maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring proper storage conditions to supporting audits, vaccine logistics, and dispatches, your work will safeguard quality, strengthen systems, and keep care delivery uninterrupted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record all incoming medicines; maintain up-to-date, accurate stock records.
  • Storage & Quality Control: Store medicines under recommended temperature and humidity conditions; monitor and log daily readings; immediately report deviations or damages.
  • Vaccine & EPI Coordination: Support vaccine storage, collection, and distribution in alignment with EPI Sindh protocols; ensure accurate and timely vaccine reporting and documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pharmaceutical handling and documentation follow AKHS, P protocols.
  • Dispatch & Distribution: Pick, pack, and dispatch stock accurately and on time to health facilities, ensuring complete documentation for each transaction.
  • Expiry & Waste Management: Track expiry dates, quarantine expired or damaged stock, and support safe disposal per AKHS, P policy.
  • Audit & Reporting: Support internal and external audits, maintain organized documentation, and assist in resolving any audit observations.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and compliant with occupational safety standards.

Qualification, Experience & Skills Required

  • Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy and bring 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehousing, logistics, or inventory management.
  • understanding of EPI Sindh reporting mechanisms, vaccine collection, storage, cold chain management, and documentation processes will be preferred.
  • Should be detail-oriented, reliable, and uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Understand and apply technical protocols for pharmaceutical and vaccine storage, handling, and temperature control.
  • Thrive on structure, accuracy, and teamwork, keeping operations efficient and dependable.
