Position summary

The Delivery Associate supports project implementation by identifying deliverables, coordinating resources, providing field feedback, managing events, ensuring monitoring tool compliance, maintainingdata accuracy, leading communications strategies, and assisting in stakeholder management to achieveproject goals and enhance organizational impact.

Key responsibilities

  1. Project Implementation
    1. Identify programmatic deliverables on a quarterly basis and assess resource requirements in collaboration with the Project Manager
    2. Assist the Project Manager in identifying delivery inputs for project activities and coordinate with relevant departments (Admin/M&E/PDU etc.) for processing
    3. Liaise with or lead field teams to provide immediate feedback and input to enhance project implementation
    4. Support the Project Manager in identifying red flags concerning the delivery of programmatic deliverables
    5. Maintain routine coordination with project field teams to ensure consistency in work plans and deliverables uptake
    6. Coordinate with the Project Coordinator to provide additional support on project deliverables related to field engagements
    7. Actively lead the coordination and execution of programmatic events, establishing communication channels with project stakeholders
  2. Monitoring, Learning, and Data Management
    1. Ensure project-specific monitoring tools are updated, stored, and utilized in line with M&E standards during project activities
    2. Routinely update the monitoring and evaluation calendar for the respective project and keep M&E timely apprised of project activities
    3. Ensure the accuracy of data collected throughout project activities and update the Project Manager on any inconsistencies
    4. Regularly conduct field visits to monitor program activities, reporting back to the Project Manager on lessons learned and delivery red flags
  3. Communications and Outreach
    1. Lead the development and execution of the project-specific communications strategy in collaboration with the Communications Department
    2. Develop the project's dissemination strategy while maintaining a stakeholder list for the same
    3. Ensure effective coverage of project activities and events, leading the dissemination on social media
  4. Strategic Support and Stakeholder Management
    1. Support the Project Manager in liaising with project stakeholders and establishing relationships with relevant focal persons, including supporting advocacy campaigns
    2. Maintain regular contact and coordination with project stakeholders alongside the Project Manager
    3. Assist the Project Manager in maintaining the project's stakeholder analysis document
    4. Support the Project Manager in designing donor reports and relevant documents for stakeholders

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Project Management, Communications, or related field

Experience: 2-3 years in project coordination, monitoring, or related roles; experience in stakeholder engagement preferred

Skills: Strong organizational and attention to detail; communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools; familiarity with social media and digital communications

Knowledge: Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation principles; data management practices; communications and dissemination strategies
