Job Title: IT Officer – Pakistan
Location: Onsite, Lahore, Pakistan
Reports To: Director Operations Pakistan
Role Summary
The IT Officer – Pakistan will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and supporting technology operations for Evaluate Medicolegal / Evaluate Health. The role will assist in managing hardware, software, networks, cybersecurity controls, and user support while ensuring seamless collaboration between Pakistan-based teams and Australian stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically skilled, and capable of maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment that supports business operations.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Helpdesk

Provide first and second-level technical support to employees.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.

Manage IT helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution of user requests.

Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including user account setup and access management.

Provide technical assistance during Australian business hours when required.
Systems & Infrastructure Support

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.

Monitor and maintain local networks, internet connectivity, and communication systems.

Assist in managing cloud-based platforms, email systems, and collaboration tools.

Perform routine system updates, patches, and maintenance activities.

Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection

Ensure compliance with organizational cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Implement and monitor endpoint security solutions.

Support data backup and recovery processes.
-
Assist in monitoring security incidents and escalating issues when required.

Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices among staff.
Software & Application Support

Install, configure, and troubleshoot business applications and productivity tools.

Coordinate with vendors for software licensing, support, and maintenance.

Assist users with application-related issues and training.
Compliance & Documentation

Maintain accurate IT documentation, policies, procedures, and asset records.

Support internal audits and compliance reviews.

Ensure confidentiality and security of medicolegal and healthcare-related information.
Technology Improvement
-
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.

Recommend technology enhancements to improve operational effectiveness.

Support implementation of new systems and technology projects.
Key Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
-
2–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or technical operations.

Experience supporting office networks, hardware, software, and cloud applications.
-
Experience working with international teams is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.

Basic understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
