About the role:

The Driver will provide essential transportation support for the Green Church Initiative Phase 2 project. The role involves ensuring the safe and timely transport of project staff, materials, and equipment to various locations. The Driver will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with logistical tasks as needed. This role requires reliability, a strong sense of responsibility, and effective coordination with the project team to support the smooth execution of project activities.

About the Project:

PMS is going to implement the Green Church Initiative Phase-II project in Faisalabad, targeting 10 local churches across both urban and rural areas, with an expected impact on 24,500 individuals at the household level. The initiative will engage local influencers, religious and community leaders, and relevant stakeholders, including NGOs, academia, and government departments, to promote environmental sustainability and social empowerment.

Your impactful goals will include:

  • Determine when and what kind of maintenance the vehicle needs, and keep track of general maintenance schedules, especially car tyres condition. Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Change oil, check tires, lights horn, clutch, and brakes, and wash the car regularly. keep the service vehicle(s) in clean condition, both inside and outside.
  • Maintains accurate, up-to-date records on field visits, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports, and other records that are requested from management.
  • Maintain the log book of each service vehicle on a daily basis. Ensure that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accidents.
  • Maintain and ensure availability of all required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, and map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts in the assigned vehicle.
  • Coordinates the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with staff to minimize service interruptions.
  • Be able to work in cooperation with others.

What we are looking for:

Education & Knowledge:

  • Secondary School Certificate.

Work Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Valid driving license

Functional Competencies/Skills:

  • Excellent driving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of driving rules and regulations, chauffeur protocol and courtesies and local roads and conditions.
  • Strong defensive driving skills
  • Skills in minor vehicle repairs
  • Professional appearance and punctuality.
