Objectives Working in close collaboration with the COVs and Afghan communities begin by identifying the vocational skills that align with the needs and interests of the survivors, women, and adolescent girls. Assessments, which will be developed in consultation, will be conducted with Afghan women and adolescent girls to understand their existing skill levels and preferences. Based on the assessment, Organization together with the COVs and Afghan community, will design and implement tailored vocational skill training programs based on the identified needs. The participants will be offered a variety of skills such as sewing, handicrafts, computer literacy, or any other skills relevant to local market demand. The training program will include facilitation of job placements or provision of support for entrepreneurship ventures after the completion of training. The project will offer guidance on creating small businesses, accessing markets, and sustaining economic independence through provision of tool kits.

The vocational training requires hands-on practical training apart from theoretical part and observation/demonstration of the skills to trainees. Based on analysis of trades leading to self-employment and global best practices, the most progressive way to provide skills training, in the current situation is through the blended learning model. The skill training through this model will deliver onsite training where the training content both theory and demonstration are inculcated through practice.
