About the role

We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Payments Officer (Consultant) to manage global payment operations across our international entities. In this role, you will be responsible for processing vendor and employee payments through the XE platform integrated with Sage Intacct, ensuring all transactions are executed with accuracy, efficiency, and in full compliance with internal controls and financial policies. You will collaborate closely with regional finance teams, shared services, and accounts payable to resolve payment discrepancies, support audits, and contribute to continuous process improvement. This position requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to handle high-volume transactions with discretion and professionalism in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CAF, CA and CIMA) preferred.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in payment processing or treasury operations, preferably in an international or multi-entity environment.

  • Working knowledge of Sage Intacct ERP is desirable.

  • Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with precision and confidentiality.

  • Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

  • Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-border teams and vendors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process global vendor and employee payments using the XE payments platform integrated with Sage Intacct.

  • Ensure that all payments are processed accurately, securely, and in a timely manner, in accordance with internal controls and global policies.

  • Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Shared Services, and Regional Finance teams across global subsidiaries.

  • Investigate and resolve payment errors, duplicate transactions, or delays, including any legacy issues.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security over financial information and payment credentials.

  • Assist in process documentation, audit support, and compliance reviews.
