Remote HR Consultant (Part-time)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Consultant to support our human resources function remotely. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HR policy development, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and strategic HR initiatives. This role is suitable for professionals who can work independently, offer tailored HR advice, and drive HR best practices across a remote workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR guidance on a wide range of issues including employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and handbooks aligned with local and international labor laws.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including job description creation, interview coordination, and candidate evaluation.
- Advise on performance management strategies and assist in handling performance-related concerns or disciplinary actions.
- Assist in workforce planning, role evaluations, and succession planning.
- Provide support for employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and retention strategies.
- Conduct HR audits and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Deliver remote training or coaching sessions on HR topics such as leadership, compliance, or soft skills.
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to department heads and managers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of HR consulting or generalist experience, preferably in a remote or international setting.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment law (local and/or global, depending on region).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with a consultative approach.
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems, remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack,), and MS Office Suite.
