Brief Introduction of the Project:

Penny Appeal, under its Thirst Relief Project, is launching a critical water supply initiative in Haripur District, targeting Afghan refugee camps where safe drinking water is scarce. This project will see the installation of 25 deep wells, providing dependable, year‑round access to clean water for hundreds of displaced individuals and members of the host community.

By improving the availability of potable water, this intervention aims to reduce the prevalence of waterborne diseases, alleviate the daily burden on women and children who often travel long distances to collect water, and support overall community health and resilience. The works will be carried out in close coordination with relevant local authorities and camp management to ensure quality standards, sustainability, and proper handover to the community.

Bidders will be expected to demonstrate proven expertise in deep well construction, adherence to WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) technical standards, and capacity to deliver the works within the specified timeframe and budget
