Relevant Experience & Qualification:
Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain. 5-6 years’ experience, preferably in the development sector. Experience of working with international/national organizations and government agencies.
Job Description:
- Ensure procurement processes are effectively implemented in line with the organizational policies & procedures.
- Assess products, services, and vendors before finalization.
- Review and compare received quotations and prepare comparatives.
- Review and crosscheck purchase orders with vendor prices of all general items.
- Maintain record/database of work orders, purchase orders, contracts and all relevant documentation.
- Perform fieldwork and market visits when required
- Ensure a consistent and compliant order filing system is put in place in every office to track, report and record all procurement, stocks, assets and fleet activities
- Ensure that data base for potential suppliers is maintained and documentary records are kept in a safe possession.
- Maintain and ensure an efficient contract management strategy in place to mitigate procurement risks.
