Job Description:

To engage school communities, teachers, and caregivers in awareness and preparedness activities under the AA project. The role supports the development of evacuation plans, conducts protection-related sessions, and strengthens local participation in disaster risk reduction and response efforts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Mobilize school communities, caregivers, and teachers for participatory planning of school safety measures.
• Support the development of school-level readiness/evacuation plans and safe space identification.
• Conduct awareness sessions on disaster risks, protection measures, and referral pathways.
• Assist in the facilitation of teacher training on GBV, MHPSS, and disaster mitigation.
• Support communication on early warning systems and community preparedness.
• Engage with local CSOs, PTAs, and women/youth groups for inclusion in AA processes.
• Facilitate feedback mechanisms and maintain communication between schools and local authorities.
• Monitor school and community compliance with safety protocols and evacuation drills.
• Support data gathering for mapping exercises and stakeholder assessments.

Job Requirements:

• Master preferably in sociology or any discipline of social sciences.
• Comprehensive knowledge of program management in Sindh Province.
• Excellent typing and analytical skills
• Strong analytical, communication and report writing skills in English
• 3 Years (At least 3 years of work experience in social/development sector)
• The position is only open for residents of Sindh and preference will be given to local candidates
